The Virgin Mary now decided to show up on a water stain of some stone wall in New Mexico. The article mentions it as an image of the "Virgin of Guadalupe" which according to Wikipedia is a famous apparition of Mary. Apparently it's actually just a portrayal of Mary that is said to have just "miraculously" appeared, which is unfortunate because I was hoping this would be the first known instance of pareidolia of pareidolia.
You're kidding right? We're at war, racially divided, and killing the planet and the bible bangers think Jesus is going to reach us through a stain on the side of an abandoned building? It's the placebo effect. One person says they see the face of their "savior" and it is clear as day to everyone. There is nothing to back up religion and the bible. Sins that are present back up the government and keep certain people in control. I can lead a civil life without obeying an invisible man in the sky. I am not some miserable atheist girl. I love life! I will live it to the fullest, but I won't waste time pretending there is a higher power because I'm weak minded and afraid of death.
You are saying that Christians are weak minded...? You need to see from more than your own point of view. Thats like me saying you are weak minded because you don't believe in Jesus. I agree, jesus probably won't reach us from a 'stain on an abandoned building.' However, insulting people isn't going to get you anywhere. Learn to respect other peoples opinions without insulting them.
