Reader Luke Doddy sent in this picture of Jesus on a tree stump. Look, the hands are even marked for crucifixion! And a really nasty wound on his side, but let's ignore that. Jesus is also apparently a cyclops.

Ten days ago, Jesus decided to appear in a tree branch located in Bill Johnson's yard. Apparently this wasn't dramatic or conspicuous enough for Jesus this time, as then Jesus decided to make the branch fall in Johnson's yard so he'd be a sure to get a good look.

Johnson says the image is of Jesus with an outstretched hand. I think Jesus is holding a big ass chain gun.

Reader Matt Roback sent in this picture of Jesus appearing in yet another tree. Where Matt cut a branch from the tree, there was Jesus staring at him! The image disappeared within a foot to either side of the cut, which may lead some heathen nonbelievers to conclude that it was a simple discoloration of the wood.

Also, apologies for the small picture; Matt did not have a larger one, though he said he would look for the original. I will update this if I receive a new picture.

The Virgin Mary appeared in the form of a tree stump, which received its own little shrine in New Jersey. This tree stump apparently brought lots of people together. I'm sure Mary is very pleased with her rocks and pictures, after all that effort of transforming the tree stump.

Reader Noorul Amin from India found Jesus in a tree root in his garden about eight years ago. Jesus decided to appear exactly as he did during the crucifixion, including anatomical accuracy (so you can tell this didn't happen in the US).

Jesus was spotted just yesterday on another tree. He was a little late getting there, because it's been "a few years" since that branch was originally cut down. Maybe he was stuck in traffic or something.

The trees are catching back up! Jesus appeared in some discoloring of tree rings. This is another example of Jesus's subtlety; there are no facial features or anything else to distinguish the vaguely humanoid shape, but discerning believers are still able to sniff him out.

The only thing Jesus and his mom like more than doors are trees. Jesus appears in another one, and in a poll, 55% -- almost 1300 people -- claim to see Jesus's face.

The person who originally reported the image said that he saw a woodpecker fly away right before he saw Jesus there for the first time. Obviously the woodpecker crafted the face into the tree, which shows that Jesus is now getting too lazy to even do his own work.
